Hidden behind a secret door at our Barton Springs location, the Speakeasy Wine Cave evokes the romance and tradition of old-world wine culture, where caves and caverns were used to preserve the integrity of wines through cool temperatures and minimal light. This heritage is reimagined in a modern setting—moody, intimate, and layered in texture. Designed for connection and indulgence, the cave seats up to 26 guests comfortably and is available for private bookings and special occasions. Guests are guided through a curated tasting of nine premium wines, each thoughtfully paired with local cheeses, charcuterie, and seasonal accompaniments from Antonelli’s Cheese Shop. It is a transportive experience that invites curiosity and leaves a lasting impression.

✈️Flight #1: Grand Tasting EXPERIENCE

This immersive 90-minute experience invites guests on a guided journey through 9 curated wines sourced from rotating global regions, thoughtfully paired with a premium artisanal charcuterie board from Antonelli’s Cheese Shop. Set within the intimate and atmospheric setting of our Speakeasy Wine Cave, the experience is sold by table and designed for two guests. The Grand Tasting experience offers a generous tasting of approximately 1 full bottle of wine per guest, crafted to inspire conversation, connection, and discovery.

✈️Flight #2: Sommelier's Choice Wine Tasting

Experience the old-world atmosphere of our exclusive Speakeasy Wine Cave with a premium wine tasting focused on rare and exceptional selections. This offering features three four-ounce pours of distinctive wines, typically available only by the bottle, providing a curated journey through rotating global regions to ensure a unique experience with every visit. Each guest will consume approximately 1/2 a bottle of wine during this experience. While this tasting does not include food, artisanal cheese and charcuterie boards from Antonelli’s Cheese Shop are available to purchase on-site to complement your tasting.

• Where is the Speakeasy Wine Cave located? Our Speakeasy Wine Cave is located on the lower level at our Barton Springs location: 1601 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704. Once you arrive, check in with our team and they will get you seated.

• What time should I arrive for my reservation? Please arrive 10 minutes before your reservation time to allow for check-in, parking, and seating. We begin 5 minutes after the scheduled reservation time.

• What happens if I'm late for a tasting or show? If you arrive late, we will do our best to catch you up. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we'll do our best to accommodate you with your pours.

• Is parking available at the venue? Yes, free parking is available at our venue. Additional free street parking us available up the Kinney Avenue hill in the neighborhood. Please allow extra time to find a spot and get settled before your reservation time.

• Can I adjust my reservation time? All sales are final, and reservation times cannot be changed. Tastings are scheduled in advance and run on a fixed timeline. Please double-check your availability before booking. We appreciate your understanding!

• What should I do if I need to cancel my reservation? All reservations are final. If a member of your party needs to cancel, we can offer the extra food or pours to other guests in your party to share. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
